Research report

Planned: February 2027

Co-funded by the European Union

How trainers in Germany and Poland assess practical work today, and how this compares with assessment at WorldSkills and EuroSkills competitions.

The report combines a survey of at least 100 trainers with desk research on assessment standards in more than 15 vocational fields. It compares the marking schemes used at skills competitions with everyday assessment in vocational schools and companies in both countries.

From the findings the partners write the AISA Methodology Framework. It selects the 10 vocational fields for which the toolkit is built: those where the gap between competition-level and classroom assessment is largest.

The anonymised survey data will be published under CC BY-SA 4.0 for further research.
